Fleeting Dreams
“We have no reasons to believe that whoever is doing all of this, wants any harm to come towards the students here Albus.” Minerva said. “So there is no reason to be alarming them, or any of their parents just yet, not until we have a reason to.” She then added. Chocolate brown eyes turning to look towards the older male before her, though his expression seem to be blank at the time, not being able to tell what it was that was running through the older male’s mind she then spoke up once more. “Albus?”
“Of course there isn’t a reason to inform them yet, but we must be ready to keep the students here safe. We cannot afford to have another issue that might alert the parents or students, like what had been happening only four years or so ago. There is something that we cannot go back to, that is for sure.” He murmured. Though there seemed to be something else going on in that wise mind of his, something that he wasn’t speaking up about. Minerva didn’t say anything else for a long moment and then nodded once when she could tell that he wasn’t about to say anything about what it was that Albus was thinking.
“So until we have reasons to believe that we need to bring the familes and their children into this, then we will keep it quiet, correct?”
“Yes, that is correct, no reason to worry anyone right now.” And with that, Albus Dumbldore then walked back into his own confinement of the classroom that he taught in. His bright blue eyes coming to close for a moment as his hands came to rub his temples for a moment. “Something is coming.” He murmured under his breath. He could just sense it, even if he didn’t know what it was, he knew that someone or something was about to become powerful. And he couldn’t say he knew what it was that he wanted to do about it.
----Four Months Later----
Deaths had a cured, but it was a slow thing so many people hadn’t thought much of it just yet. Except for the people who had been the ones to loose the people closest to them, to have the people they cared for die. But this wasn’t something that the students of Hogwarts had to worry about, as far as they were concerned. As the Marauder’s came to there seventh and final year of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, they thought that it was just going to be another one of those years where James Potter would continue to chase after Lily Evans, and be turned down constantly. Where Sirius Black would still be considered the sort of person who would be breaking the hearts of many of the admiring girls that would day dream about him. And of course, where Remus Lupin would be the mild one, the one who would almost always be found behind a book, or with his friends. Either there in their detentions with them for their pranks, or there trying to get them out of their detentions, while Peter Petigrew would of course be following James and Sirius around whenever he could get the chance.
Though of course, nothing can always repeat itself year after year, now can it? This year will bring many things that maybe nobody had ever thought would really a cure, things that many people just wouldn’t want to admit would happen. Of course, these things were mainly happening for any of these so called followers to the unannounced dark lord that was beginning to arise. For who knew what may end up happening this year, for the year where maybe for once, there will be a so called prank that is unstoppable, a prank that was not caused by the famous Four-some. But until that acures, who knows what else might happen for any of the students there. Maybe the death rate might go up, and cause people to go home, or to not attend the school of witchcraft and wizardry.
Though only a seerer could really know what it was that was going to be happening in the future, even if it is a seerer that is not always so dependable. But for now, while the calm and the peacefulness of a new school year starts, there is nothing to worry about. As far as the Marauder’s are concerned, they have a full year of winning and breaking hearts, of maybe even passing some of the classes that they hadn’t thought that they would be passing in the first place. And maybe it is also time that they make friends that are outside of the group. Where there are other students that maybe they hadn’t thought would be as nearly as much fun to be around, or nearly as much to be able to pull a prank on as they would have thought.
But now it is time for the train to come and take you to the school. So off you go now, off to the school where who knows what it is that you may encounter.
